Ever get stressed out about how many decisions you have to make in a day? Do you feel like people are waiting on you to figure it all out? Instead of being overwhelmed, let’s flip the script and find a way to be grateful for all the choices for Figure it out Friday!
I know it’s easy to feel a bit frantic because of all the choices we have to make in a day. What time to get up, what to make for breakfast, what to buy at the store, where to park, what TV show to watch, what to read before bed, it’s so much! I don’t wanna take away from the reality that there are days where we’re all in decision-making overload.
But a big part of cultivating more gratitude in our lives is finding a way to be grateful for everything from the food we eat to, yep, all the choices we have to make in a day.
Let’s do a re-framing exercise. Instead of saying “Ugh I don’t know what to make for dinner tonight” we can reframe it and say “I am so thankful for all the options I have for what to make for dinner.” Do you see the difference? If you say it out loud, you’ll probably even feel the difference in your body. One is “ugh” energy and one is “thankful” energy which is lighter and more fun to feel, right? No one wants to feel “ugh” all the time.

Take time to be Thankful!
Being thankful for all the choices we have to make is a way different way to think, but it can make the day-to-day decisions so much better because we’re not overwhelmed. We’re thankful that we even HAVE options and when we’re feeling grateful, we’re feeling good, and it’s easier to make other decisions that feel good.
